Fredia Heloise (Derringer) Millikan

Fredia Heloise (Derringer) Millikan was born on October 14, 1926 to the late Jessie and Nellie Derringer. On March 2, 1944 she married Dempsey Millikan, son of Roy and Mable Millikan. To this union three children were born: Peggy Nell, Dempsey (Bub), and Diana Gail. On September 14, 2016 "Lois" as she was known to everyone passed away. Dempsey and Lois ran a grocery store for about 37 years at the intersection of 1 and 146 where they both worked and served many families and made friends in Hardin County. She was loved and will be missed by her family.

She is survived by Daughter: Peggy and Dave Robertson; Son: Dempsey (Bub) and Diana Millikan; 8 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; and 5 Great Great Grandchildren; 2 sisters: Geneva Anderson and Alma Brookmyer; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents: Jessie and Nellie Derringer; Husband: Dempsey Millikan; Daughter: Diana Gail Millikan; Granson: Gregory Millikan; Brothers: Vernon and Billy Derringer; and two Sisters: Maxine Dutton and Gail Brookmyer.

Hardin County Funeral Services; Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be on Friday September 16, 2016 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM. To 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
