Fashionable Hope

The tradition of live models at clothing stores was brought back to life on Saturday by Gypsy Moon Boutique in downtown Harrisburg for the launch of Motto Originals clothing, and a celebration of breast cancer awareness.

Launched by Gypsy Moon owner Beth Moore and Tina Gibbs, the launch featured the "Hope is Dope" shirt, as well as shirts for Halloween and football.

Breast cancer survivors, including Moore's mother, Norma Dearing, modeled the "Hope is Dope" shirts in the windows of the store, while customers were invited to shop and enjoy pink-themed treats.

Ten percent of the sales from the shirts go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Gibbs praised the turnout from the event and thanked the public for its support.

There are some "Hope is Dope" shirts still available at Gypsy Moon. Styles will be added on a regular basis, and will be able to be seen on the Motto Originals Facebook page.
