Caution urged around township road crews

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harrisburg Township work crews have been cleaning brush and sediment left in ditches from the spring floods this week and have been nervous about the speed at which traffic drives past them.

Township Road Superintendent Bob Smith asks motorists to slow and use caution the same as they would approaching any other road construction project.

"People are flying past the workers," Smith said.

He asks people to pay attention to the flaggers, caution signs and to be aware they are driving very close to men working at the edge of the roads.

Smith said crews were working at Ingram Hill Road Tuesday and the remainder of the week will be working on the northwest section of the township, specifically Lewis Lane, Lewis Road and Mount Moriah Road.
