Stella L. (Seets) Wright

Stella L. (Seets) Wright, 78, of Harrisburg, IL passed away at 6:08 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Stella was born on September 27, 1937 in Shawneetown, IL to the late George W. Seets and Mary (Holloman) Seets. On June 27, 1953 she married Wayne Wright. Stella and Wayne were the owner and operators of Wright's Wrecker Service for many years and also a daycare.

Surviving family members include a son: Fred Wright of Harrisburg; son: Steve Wright of Harrisburg; daughter: Brenda Sanders of Marion, IL; son: Roger Wright of Terre Haute, IN; two sisters: Sylvia (Seets)Herndon of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Hazel (Seets) Hutchison of Harrisburg, IL; brother: Danny Seets of Harrisburg; grandchildren: Jason Wright, Jamie (Wright) Griffith, Nathan Herron, Jessica (Wright) Pickens and Sarah (Wright) Stuhr; greatgrandchildren: Tristan Wright, Riley Wright, Dalton Griffith, Tyler Taylor, Maverick Herron and Manning Herron, Samuel Pickens and soon to be Gracie Pickens.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers and sisters, Bessie (Seets) White, Jake Seets, Wayne Seets, Lavern (Seets) Odle, Catherine (Seets) Wilson, John Seets and Billy Seets.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Reed Funeral Chapel. Stan Hutchison, Carolyn Wright and Rev. John Wright will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Garden Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to service time Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Reed Funeral Chapel.
