Thomas Clyde Alexander

HARRISBURG -- Thomas Clyde Alexander, 69, passed away at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born May 12, 1947, in Harrisburg to Guthrie and Elaine (Hise) Alexander.

Tom was a member of Harrisburg Masonic Lodge 325, Ainad Shrine Club and Stonefort General Baptist Church.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, westerns, working with his hands and spending time with his daughter, grandchildren and his favorite dog, Teddy.

Tom also had a gift for storytelling.

Survivors include his daughter, Terra Vineyard and husband Keith of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Colton Vineyard and Haley Vineyard of Harrisburg, Hunter and Chase Maloney of Harrisburg and Cale, Lance and Hannah Maloney of Dongola; sister, Linda Chancey and husband Mark of Ridgway; and nephew, Billy Joe Brown and wife Angie of Ridgway.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mikki Pender; and nephew, Alex Pearce.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, in Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg with the Rev. Jeff Owens officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brehm Preparatory School. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
