Charles Thomas Pinkston

SHAWNEETOWN -- Charles Thomas Pinkston, 54, passed away at 11:38 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, in Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 7, 1962, in Eldorado, the son of Thomas Ezra and Josephine (Smith) Pinkston.

Charles was a truck driver for Klem Trucking of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

He attended Ohio Valley General Baptist Church in Shawneetown.

Survivors include his son, Charles Lee Pinkston of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Marilyn and Ray Nally of Morganfield, Kentucky, and Pam Bryant of Junction; and brother, Tom and Gena Pinkston of Junction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Shelia Pinkston and Debra Moore.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, in Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown with the Rev. Michael Rushing officiating. Burial was in Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown. Visitation was from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
