Reba Fern (Dailey) Lane

<span>MARION -- Reba Fern (Dailey) Lane passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, in Parkway Manor in Liberty Village.</span>

<span>She was born Nov. 1, 1919, south of Harrisburg, in East Ledford to Fred and Hazel (Gulley) Dailey.</span>

<span>Reba attended elementary school in East Ledford and graduated from Harrisburg Township High School in 1937.</span>

<span>After graduation, Reba worked at Harrisburg Soil Conservative Office. In 1939, William Roy Lane walked into the Soil Conservative Office and didn&rsquo;t leave until Reba agreed to ride in his new truck. They were married in 1940.</span>

<span>Survivors include two daughters, Judy La Bounty (Hugh) of Carlsbad, California, and Myrna Sue Bossler (Robert) of San Diego, California; grandson, Brice Bossler; great-granddaughter, Kate Bossler; nephews, Steve Dailey (Sandy), Mike Dailey (Sherry) and Perry Dailey (Sandy); niece, Marta Smith (Rod); and many grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.</span>

<span>Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, in Blue Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.</span>

<span>Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home, 1704 N. Court St., Marion, IL 62959.</span>
