Carolyn Ann Price

STONEFORT -- Carolyn Ann Price, 68, passed away Thursday morning, Feb. 16, 2017, in Harrisburg Medical Center.

She was born June 1, 1948, in Laramie, Wyoming, daughter of Virgil and Pansy (Smith) Collins. She married Larry D. Price on July 13, 1971, and he survives.

Carolyn was a retired home-health caregiver.

Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Price of Stonefort; sons, Kenneth (Gina) Price of Marion and Richard (Amanda) Price of Harrisburg; daughters, Kathy (Jeff) McFall of Columbus, Ohio, and Dorothy (Arvin) Schurmeier of Fort Branch, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Susie Tatum and Judy Womack, both of Texas; and brother, Bill Collins of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Dianna Lynn; and brother, Grant Adams.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg with the Rev. Dave Angelly officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation; those planning to attend the services are asked to meet at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the preferred choice of remembrance would be memorials in her memory to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Harrisburg Medical Center Auxillary. Envelopes will be available at the services.
