Prep Hoops: Inside Job

Eldorado's Ethan Partridge had eight first half points, helping the Eagles to a 34-28 halftime lead against Harrisburg. His eight points to start the third quarter couldn't have been bigger, giving Eldorado a cushion that resulted in a 65-57 win at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium Saturday night.

Partridge was part of a big three that included Braden Attebury and Clay Boulds that accounted for 51 of the Eagles' 65 points, mostly all coming in the paint.

Partridge had a game-high 23 points, while Attebury finished with 15 and Boulds banked in 13 for Eldorado, who beat Harrisburg for the first time since the 2008-09 season and snapped an 8-game losing streak to the Bulldogs.

John Meredith had five points for Eldorado, while Adam Ninness finished with four. Jacob Traxler had two points and Max Kasiar had a free throw.

Harrisburg played the game without big man Jordan Bartok, who was nursing an ankle injury and were without their two leading scorers most of the game as Isaiah Saulsberry was in foul trouble and Patrick Bittle missed the entire second half due to an injury.

Noah Ferrell had 15 points for the Bulldogs, while Jordan Gould scored 11 and Blake Drue accounted for 10.

Saulsberry did finish with eight points, while Austin Hefner put up five points and Hunter Smith finished with four.

Harrisburg has no dropped four in a row, after having won seven straight. The Bulldogs are slated to travel to Herrin Friday where they take on a Tiger team they haven't lost to since 2011 and have won the past eight against.
