Alumni Corner: A weekly review of local athletes in college

Taylor Goodley - Austin Peay

Goodley had a final round 81 as the Austin Peay women's golf team finished fifth overall at the Fourth Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at the Sevierville Golf Club in Tennessee.

On Monday, Goodley finished her second round with a score of 80 - the same score she shot Monday - as she shot a three-day total of 241, which tied her for second-best on the team.

Ashton Goodley - Austin Peay

Playing as an individual, Goodley shot a three-day total of 247, finishing with a 81 on the final day of the Fourth Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at the Sevierville Golf Club in Tennessee. On Monday Goodley shot an 82.

Drew Novara - SIU

The Murphysboro native finished in a tie for 37th after a three-day total of 229 at the Fourth Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate at the Sevierville Golf Club in Tennessee. As a group, SIU took third overall, finishing behind Western Kentucky and Murray State.

Nova opened the tournament with a 77 and then fired back-to-back 76's on Monday and Tuesday. Nova and the Salukis will tee it up April 9-10 at the Robert Kepler Invitational in Columbus, Ohio.
