Prep Baseball: Gallatin County offense explodes against Pope County

Thomas York, Lucas Hise and Patrick Clark each had three hits, while Clay Pritchard, Seth Ramsey, Kory Hise, Aaron Walters, Audie Goebel and Hunter Walters all had two hits as Gallatin County knocked off Pope County 23-1 in Greater Egyptian Conference action Tuesday.

Nathan Shults, Garrett Rushing, Grant Bosaw and Wyatt Downen all had one hit on the day.

On the mound, Patrick Clark went three innings, allowing no runs, while striking out five. Robbie Price pitched one inning, striking out three and Thomas York went one inning, striking out one.

The Hawks are scheduled to play at Hardin County Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in their final game of the week.
