Prep Baseball: Bulldogs drop SIRR game to WF

West Frankfort avenged an earlier season loss to Harrisburg with a 3-2 win Friday at home.

Dalton Lambert took the loss in relief Friday, working 1 1/3 inning, giving up 1 unearned run on one hit with one strikeout. Lambert dropped to 1-3 on the season, while Harrisburg is now 7-7 overall and 1-3 in Southern Illinois River-to-River Ohio play.

Noah Vallette got the start, working five innings and allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits, while striking out and walking two.

At the plate, Patrick Bittle was 2-for-4, while Tyler Lightner was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI, driving in Jordan Gould and Patrick Bittle in the fourth inning.
