Prep Volleyball: Eldorado stumbles at NCOE

At the first day of the Norris City-Omaha-Enfield volleyball tournament, Eldorado went 0-2 with losses to NCOE (7-25 and 20-25) and lost to Thompsonville (13-25 and 13-25).

In the loss to NCOE, Rachel Durham was 7-for-7 on sets with four spikes, and 6-for-7 on serves with six points, two aces and seven digs.

Madison Newton was 8-for-8 on sets with nine spikes and went 3-for-3 at the serving line with three points and five digs. Olivia Parker was 4-for-4 on spikes, she finished with one service point and one kill on block.

Emma Bradley was 6-for-6 on spikes with one kill and two digs, while Jade Hise was 3-for-3on sets with three spikes.

Briley Lenkiatis was 3-for-3 on sets and had nine spikes, two kills and five digs. Paige Munds was 1-for-1 at the line with one point and five digs and Kaitlyn McGuire was 1-for-1 at the line with a point and nine digs.

Angelica Harrelson had one spike, Kaitlyn Etienne had seven digs and Havan Rovito had two points.

In the loss to Thompsonville, Durham was 10-for-10 on sets with two spikes, three serving points and five digs.

Harrelson was 2-for-2 on spikes and had one dig, while Newton went 4-for-4 on sets and 8-for-10 on spikes with two points and six digs.

Paula Williams was 4-for-4 on sets and 3-for-3 on spikes with one kill, while Etienne had 12 digs on the day.

McGuire went 3-for-3 on serves with three points, one ace and eight digs and Parker finished with three spikes, one kill, two points and five digs.

Hise was 4-for-4 on sets and 2-for-3 on serves with three points and four digs, while Bradley was 1-for-1 on sets and 5-for-5 on spikes with one kill and two digs.

Lenkiatis was 1-for-1 on sets and 4-for-5 on spikes with one kill and four digs and Munds was 4-for-5 on serves with five points, an ace and three digs.

Eldorado was slated to play Hamilton County and Carmi (Thursday) at the NCOE Tournament and then will play in the Carrier Mills-Stonefort Invitational this weekend.
