Prep Volleyball: CMSF sweeps Eldorado at home

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort volleyball team defeated Eldorado in straight sets Monday evening, winning 25-11 and 25-22.

CMSF seniors Katelynn McHugh and Brianna Pickering led the way with each serving two aces and having three kills.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Cross added four kills on the night with sophomore Kelsey Crum providing 20 sets and senior Heather Price providing 19 sets.

"Our passing and serving was much better this evening, allowing our girls at the net to have 30 plus spikes" Lady Wildcat coach Mike Stone said.

The J.V. Lady Wildcats also won in straight games, taking out Eldorado 25-18, 25-19. Lauren Hancock had an outstanding junior varsity game with seven aces and four kills. CMSF played well with Sienna Figg having five kills and Jillian Crisp added four kills.
