Mildred R. 'Millie' Voltz

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mildred R. "Millie" Voltz, 77, of Logansport, Ind., died 5:39 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 27, 1931, in Harrisburg to Leroy Roscoe and Lillie Maude (Barnett) Estes. She was married in Harrisburg on Dec. 26, 1950, to George L. Voltz, who survives.

Millie was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and a very active member of the Episcopal Church Women. She had been employed in retail sales and management at Paul Harris Apparel, Radio Shack, and Numode Hosiery, all located in the Logansport Mall.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Leslie Lynn Bever (Gary) of Logansport, Ind.; two sons, George P. Voltz (Pamela) and Wade Voltz, both of Logansport, Ind.; three brothers, Everett Estes (Kathryn) and Roy Lee Estes (Sylvia), both of Harrisburg and Robert Estes (Jean) of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Doris Green and Lenora Elmore, both of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Derek Bever, Jason Voltz, Ryan Voltz, Stephanie Voltz and Heather Voltz; a stepgrandson, Robert Bever; two great-stepgrandchildren, Henry Bever and Eliot Bever (Laura); and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Preceding her in death were her brother, David Estes; and her sister, Emily Estes.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Trinity Episcopal Church with Father Theodore Neidlinger officiating. Interment will be in the Columbarium at Trinity Episcopal Church. Arrangements are in the charge of Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport, Ind.
