Edna Irene Cluck

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Edna Irene Cluck, 90, of Galatia, went to be with her Heavenly Father 12:05 a.m. Tuesday December 16, 2008, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.

Edna was born June 28, 1918, to the late Herschel and Effie (Hedges) Hicks. On July 17, 1937, in Morganfield, Ky., she married Forrest Cluck, who preceded her in death Sept. 28, 1982.

Edna is survived by two sons, Forrest Eugene (Nancy) Cluck of Alabama and Ronnie (Carol) Cluck of Galatia; one daughter, Susan (James) Hinkle of Alabama; grandchildren, Gena (Tim) Seales, Tammy (Greg) Jones and Tony (Tammy) Cluck, all of Alabama; Rhonda (Bob) Beckman of Galatia, Tracy (Bruce) Campbell of West Frankfort and Ricky (April) Cluck of Kincaid, Denise (Donald) Thrasher of Alabama and Dana (Adam) Ellis of South Carolina, Molly (Arnold) Stevens, Larry (Misty) Cluck both of Tennessee; 27 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Wilma Sloan, Sadie Sanders and June Burgess.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Morris; and two great-grandchildren, Cody Stevens and Jacob Cluck. She was a member of the Cross Roads Church of Christ.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday Dec. 18, 2008, at the funeral home. The Rev. Roger Marvel will officiate, with burial at the Lebanon Cemetery near Galatia.

Memorials may be made to the Lebanon Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
