Katherine Carleen Abell

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Katherine Carleen Abell, 64, 507 McLain St., Equality, died 7:10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009, at her residence.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Steve Dunning officiating. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the funeral home.

She was born April 22, 1945, in Ridgway to Fred Crayne. She married Donald Abell in March 1976, and he survives in Equality.

She was a licensed practical nurse at Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Carl (Lena) Couser of Eldorado, Sonny Couser of Ridgway and Wade (Teresa) Abell of Eldorado; a brother, Willie Hale of Ridgway; three sisters, Deanie Sisk of Equality and Nettie Crayne of Evansville, Ind. and Anne; eight grandchildren, Chelsie Abell, Kourtney Abell, Destiny Abell, Stephanie Abell, Joshua Myers, Danielle Couser, Sonny Couser and Tara Couser; several nieces and nephews; a great-granddaughter to be, Isabell Couser.
