Rex Lee Bowman
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rex Lee Bowman, 86, passed away at his daughter's home in Valparaiso, Ind., on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011.
He was a longtime resident in the Muddy area.
He was born on Jan. 8, 1925, and was the son of the late Elmer and Irene Bowman of Eldorado.
He is survived by two daughters, Carla (Ron) Segally in Indiana, Frankie (David) Yother in Eldorado; and one son, Dwight (Kelly) Bowman in Newport, N.C. He had six grandsons, Brent, Scott, Ryan, Rex, Robert and Sam; three granddaughters, Amy, Stephanie and Anne; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his dear brother Earl and his beloved wife June Marie in 1983.
Rex was an earnest Christian who maintained a personal relationship with Christ throughout his life. As a young musician, he served his country during World War II, playing and singing in the 763rd Army Air Force band. He was a loving and devoted father and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
