OBITUARY: Sharon Fox

Sharon Fox, 65, of Eldorado, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, in Rock Island.

She was born in Indianapolis, Ind., to Harold and Naomi (Powers) Perry. On July 10, 1970, she married John David Fox and he preceded her in death Nov. 20, 2005.

She worked as a dietary manager at the Turner Manor Nursing Home in Harrisburg for over 10 years. She was a member of the Eldorado Gospel Assembly Church, where she taught Sunday School and worked in the kitchen.

Survivors include her mother, Naomi Perry of Eldorado; her son, John David Fox Jr. and his wife Amy of East Moline; two grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Fox; three sisters; Pamela (Gordon) Littrell of Wichita, Ks., Marla (John) Ferguson of Terre Haute, Ind., and Marsha Perry of Norris City.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday Sept. 13, 2012, at the Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. LD Jolly officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at the funeral home.
