Today's News: Our Take - Exclusive Unforgettable First Look: Dallas Roberts Debuts as Carrie's "Badass" New Boss

Carrie's got a new boss when Unforgettable returns this month - and he's a badass. At least according to Dallas Roberts.

The Walking Dead and Good Wife star plays Eliot, the head of the Major Cases Section of the NYPD who recruits Carrie (Poppy Montgomery) and Al (Dylan Walsh) for his team.

"He's a badass, a total badass," Roberts tells TVGuide.com with a laugh. "I think he's a visionary. He's got some political clout in the city and is able to collect the best and the brightest from New York's finest and assemble them onto his Major Crimes force. That's how he comes to meet Carrie and Al. And chaos begins immediately."

Roberts is one of a three new faces joining the resurrected series. Tawny Cypress will play Murray, a former decorated FBI agent, while James Laio will play Jay, a detective who specializes in technical subjects.
