Paris Jackson's request to be transferred from UCLA Medical Center to a renowned out-of-state facility has been rejected due to the fear of paparazzi attention, TMZ reports.

Jackson, who attempted suicide last month, is not cleared by UCLA to return home because she still poses a danger to herself, but the Utah facility worries that the presence of Michael Jackson's daughter would result in paparazzi photographing her and other patients.

Jackson's biological mother Debbie Rowe continues to search for other options, while people connected to Jackson are asking the facility to reconsider her transfer, according to TMZ.

On Saturday, Jackson reached out through Rowe to thank her fans for their support. "My daughter has asked that I extend a huge thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers and support. She is strong like her father," Rowe tweeted.
