OBITUARY: Lois June Gwaltney

Lois June Gwaltney, 78, of 1012 Webber Street, Eldorado, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at the Ridgway Rehab and Nursing Center in Ridgway.

She was born on May 5, 1933, in Jellico, Tenn., to the late Raymond and Louise (Olds) Gilreath. She was in advertising working for the 3M road sign corporation. She was a member of the Eldorado First United Methodist Church and the Eastern star and D.A.R. and was always active in charities.

She is survived by one son, Donny Ray Gwaltney, Eldorado; two sisters, Alice Fields and Margaret Muffitt both of Eldorado; and one niece, Pat Delk, Jellico, Tenn. She was preceded in death by one son Roy Vernon Gwaltney.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Watson Funeral Home. The Rev. Russell Helton will officiate. Burial will be at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. until service time Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at the funeral home.
