OBITUARY: Frankie O'Keefe

Frankie O'Keefe, 78, of Stonefort, died 3:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at the home of his daughter in Martinsville, Ind.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday until the service time. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills with Military Rites by the Carrier Mills and Harrisburg American Legions and the Army National Guard Ritual Team.

He was born on Jan. 1, 1935, in Stonefort, to the late Arthur and Mollie (Davenport) O'Keefe.

He married Patricia Kaberline on Feb. 2, 1961, and she preceded in death on Sept. 26, 2001.

Frank was a farmer his whole life owning a farm in Spencer, Ind., before moving back to his home farm in Stonefort.

He was a Army Veteran serving in the Korean War.

He is survived by three daughters: Lisa Baker of Bloomfield, Ind., Linda Yvonne Marquez of Martinsville, Ind., and Marilyn Monique Sims of Las Vegas, Nev.; son: Brian O'Keefe of Seymour, Ind.; four grandchildren: Amber Means, Kristie Means, Katie Sims, and Rachel Wright-Marquez; four brothers: Truman O'Keefe of Ashford, Ala., Charles O'Keefe of Mountain Home, Ark., Norman O'Keefe of Elwood, Ind., and Mike O'Keefe of Stonefort; two sisters: Helen Kerr and Mary Green both of Bensonville.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Patricia O'Keefe; and brother: Freeman O'Keefe.
