OBITUARY: Joel Keith Culbreth

Joel Keith Culbreth, age 55, of Greeneville, Tenn., passed away at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Takoma Regional Hospital in Greeneville, Tenn.

Joel was born on March 23, 1958, in Harrisburg, to the late Ronald K. Culbreth and Judith (Cook) Stubbs. He was a Truck Driver for Big G Trucking in Shelbyville, Tenn.

Joel is survived by a son, Hays Culbreth of Greeneville, Tenn.; step-brother, Greg Mekras and wife Valerie of Sugarland, Texas; step-mother, Sharon Culbreth of Harrisburg; step-niece, Victoria Mekras of Sugarland, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Sunset Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Chris Winkleman will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should gather at the cemetery. Reed Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
