Evelyn Kay Kellerman
Evelyn Kay Kellerman, 66, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 6:59 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital in Pinckneyville.
Kay had been a homemaker. She had worked in the Skilled Care Unit at Pinckneyville Community Hospital and at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Nashville. She was a member of the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill, Ill.
She was born Aug. 6, 1948 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of John and Christina (Rice) Keller.
She married Harold J. 'Cotton' Kellerman on Sept. 21, 1966 at Pinckneyville, Ill. and he preceded her in death on May 4, 2014.
She is survived by three children - Amy Mueller and husband Ronald of Venedy, Ill., Angela Kellerman of Macon, Ga. and Aaron Kellerman and wife April of Albany, NY, seven grandchildren - Krystal Scholebo, Kelsey Scholebo, Breanna Branscum, Robbie Perkey, Kenneth Mueller, Austin Kellerman and Autumn Kellerman, two brothers - Johnny Keller and Danny Keller of Dowell and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one infant sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill, Ill. with Fr. Bernard C. Goedde Jr. officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church at Todds Mill, Ill. and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday.
Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery at Todds Mill, Ill.
Friends may make memorials to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
