OBITUARY: Elijah Jared Potts

Elijah Jared Potts, 2 month old infant son of Terry and Alma (DeBose) Potts passed away suddenly Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at Ferrell Hospital.

Elijah was born in Marion June 12, 2014. In addition to his parents he is survived by three brothers, Iziah James Potts, Jeramiah Jacob Potts, Nathaniel Joseph Potts; paternal grandfather, Danny R. Potts of Eldorado; paternal great-grandmothers Isabelle Feges of Eldorado, Lila Groves of Mt. Vernon, Ind.; maternal grandparents, James and Marilyn DeBose of Eldorado; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Karen Potts; paternal grandfathers, Paul C. Potts, L.T. Groves; maternal great-grandparents, Curtis and Mary DeBose and Charles and Alma Borgman.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Helton officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation was 11 a.m. to service time on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
