Billie Dunnagan

Billie Dunnagan, age 84, of Alton, entered into eternal peace at 2:50 p.m. Monday Sept. 8, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital .

She was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Tamaroa, Ill., the daughter of Edward and Ada (Edens) Livingston.

She married James M. Dunnagan on Jan. 15, 1981 and he preceded her in death in 1996.

Billie was a dietician at Alton Memorial Hospital for 18 years, attended Font Bonne College and was a member of Main St. Baptist Church in Alton. She liked playing cards and being with her family. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the American Legion Post 126, the Alton VFW Post 1308 and the Alton Moose Lodge.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Debra Cato and David Dickerson of Alton; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Linda Isom of Greenville, Ohio; two step-daughters and step sons-in-law, Joyce and Jim Schmittling and Gloria and Al LaDue, all of Utah; a step-son and his wife, Larry and Kari Dunnagan of Wyo.; two step sons and a step daughter-in-law, Gary and Rosa Willmore, Paul Willmore and a step daughter, Mary Willmore, all of Alton, seven grandchildren, Corey and Jacquelyn Cato, Stacy and John Tanner, Anna and Jason Benanzer, Rachel and

Tim Shuff, Bradley and Clauice Isom, Fred Isom and Marlissa Isom, 12 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Louise Lowe of Meadowbrook and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband James; she is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Fred Isom Jr.; a step-son, Noel Willmore; four brothers, Willard, Wilbur, Edward and Gene Livingston and a sister, Edna Hayes.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday Sept. 11, 2014 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday Sept. 12, 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Tamaroa Cemetery in Tamaroa, Ill.

Memorials may be made to the Oasis Women's Center in Alton .
