Virginia L. Bourland

Virginia L. Bourland, 58, of Benton, Ill., died at 12:05 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 at Benton Rehab & Health Care, Benton, Ill.

She was born on Oct. 27, 1955 in Herrin, Ill., the daughter James H. and Mary Virginia (Keene) Bourland.

Surviving relatives include her son, Kevin Woodside of Pinckneyville, Ill.; five sisters, Kathy (Galen) Hamburger of Tamaroa, Ill., Rose Von Eeckhoute of Du Quoin, Ill., Cheryl Chwarczinski of Zeigler, Ill., Debbie (John) Baxter, of Radom, Ill. and Vicki (Eddie) Forrester of Buckner, Ill.; one aunt, Cathy Bourland of Benton, Ill.; one uncle, R.E. (Red) Bourland of LaMar, Ark. and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Sharon Roberts and Susan Rednour and stepfather, James "Beanie" Rice.

There will be no services and burial will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions will be accepted at the funeral home to help the family pay for funeral costs.
