Alvena A. Doerr, 99, Shawneetown, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at Saline Care Center, Harrisburg.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at St. Mary's Chapel of St. Kateri Catholic Church, Shawneetown, with the Rev. Steven Beatty officiating. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at Cox and Son Funeral Home, Shawneetown.
