Heartland Regional introduces orthopedic surgeon Beyer
MARION - Dr. Craig A. Beyer is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Heartland Regional Medical Group - Orthopedics. For nearly three decades, Beyer has diagnosed and treated ailing muscles, bones, and joints.
He also specializes in sports injuries and regularly performs joint repair and replacement operations.
When asked about his approach to orthopedics, Dr. Beyer said his "method is to personally see every patient, and not delegate their care to ancillary staff. The problems we address are often complex and the patient/doctor relationships will last a lifetime. They deserve to work directly with me."
One commonly held misconception about orthopedic surgeons is that they only perform surgical treatment. "The vast majority of my patients I see can be treated non surgically" Beyer said. "We have many nonsurgical treatment options, as patient's medical needs are varied."
Since completing his residency at the esteemed Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Dr. Beyer strives to stay focused on current medical trends, and techniques, and attends frequent continuing medical education courses.
Beyer has performed over 10,000 surgeries with vast experience in complex joint conditions including joint replacement, and joint preservation, as well as sports medicine.
Beyer is now accepting new patients at Heartland Regional Medical Group - Orthopedics.
His office is located in Heartland Regional Medical Center's Medical Office Building Suite 201, 3331 W. DeYoung Street in Marion.
