Person detained at Harrisburg Walmart after bomb threat

HARRISBURG - Harrisburg police detained one man after a possible bomb threat was reported at the Harrisburg Walmart parking lot Monday afternoon.

Harrisburg police officers and other law enforcement officers could be seen putting a man wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, a hat and bright green Nike running shoes into a squad car.

According to callers, the focus of the investigation was a gray Nissan pickup parked away from other vehicles in the parking lot.

The Illinois Secretary of State Police bomb squad was on the scene, along with Harrisburg Fire Department, many squad cars from several police departments and at least one ambulance.

The man's identity is not known. It is unclear if more than one person was involved.
