Shawnee Hills Wine Trail wins big at 2024 Illinois Wine Competition

All 12 wineries along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail produce and sell award-winning wines for every palate and this year at the Illinois Wine Competition the wine trail won big. The Shawnee Hills Wine Trail took home 7 of 11 top awards in the 2024 Illinois Wine Competition including:

• Best of Show: 2022 Chambourcin Reserve - Blue Sky Vineyard

• Top Red Wine from Any Appellation: Norton - Blue Sky Vineyard

• Governor's Cup Dessert Wine: Shawnee Cream - Blue Sky Vineyard

• Governor's Cup Red Wine: Dawg House Red - Alto Vineyards

• Governor's Cup White Wine: Vignoles - Alto Vineyards

• Top Specialty Wine: Southern Hunt - Honker Hill Winery

• Governor's Cup Rosé: Flyway Rosé - Kite Hill Vineyards
