NSDAR honors Vietnam vets at Harrisburg Library
The Michael Hillegas Chapter/NSDAR held a program Aug. 7 at the Harrisburg District Library to honor 12 Vietnam veterans, 3 Purple Heart recipients and one surviving spouse of a Vietnam veteran. Honored veterans were Stanley Austin, Daniel Lee Eyer, William Morris, Kenneth Wenzel, Roger Dale, George Budd, Arthur Szakonyi, Guy McDowell, Marvin Weaver, Dennis Kern, Jim Sterns, Allen McLaughry and Barbara Childers, surviving spouse of Vietnam Era Veteran Don Childers.
