</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Dorothy J. Carson, 85, of Lincoln, formerly of McLeansboro, died 2:15 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008, at St. Clara's Manor, Lincoln.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Ron Lamp officiating.

Burial will be in Ten Mile Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at the funeral home.

She was the widow of Walter "Bud" Carson. She is survived by a son, daughter-in-law, two daughters, two sons-in-law, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
