Steven R. Binkley of Carrier Mills

Steven R. Binkley, 29, of Carrier Mills passed away early Monday morning, Sept. 16 in a multi-vehicle accident on I-24 south of Paducah, Ky.

He is survived by his wife Mataya Binkley, whom he met in March of this year, and he asked her to marry him seven weeks later. By June 8, they were saying, “I do.”

He is also survived by his parents, Danielle Hutchison and Steve Binkley; stepfather Marc Hutchison; and two sisters, Ashley Binkley and Alyssa Binkley.

Steven also had three young boys of the ages 9, 3 and 1. Steven was obsessed with spending extra time with his family and playing with his three young boys. He spent most of his young life focused on sports and athletics. Steven cared about others and just wanted to make others proud and try to be the best version of himself.

Visitation and funeral arrangements are still being discussed and organized by the family and will be held at Felty Funeral Home.
