OBITUARY: Lisa C. Henson

Lisa C. Henson, 59 of 330 Dunn Road, Stonefort, died Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at her residence.

Graveside services were held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, at Reids Chapel Cemetery. Visitation was held Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Jeff Owens officiated. Memorials may be made to Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

She was born on Aug. 19, 1955, in Harrisburg, to the late Claude and Emma M. (Lewis) Dunn.

She married Bill Henson on Nov. 11, 1996, and he preceded in death on March 21, 2006.

Lisa was a simple person who enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with her friends.

She is survived by a son: Chad Samples of Gales Ferry, Conn.; daughter: Emma Mae Lewis of Stonefort; companion: Brent Crowder of Carrier Mills; two grandchildren: Lexi Samples and Logan Samples, both of Gales Ferry, Conn.; three brothers: Robert "Bob" Dunn of Harrisburg, John Dunn of Marion, Ky., Joe Dunn of Stonefort; and a sister: Linda Stewart of Marion; several nieces; nephews; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother: Dewey Dunn.
