</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jo Ann (Barger) Gates Mungle, 74, of Fredericktown, Mo., died Friday, July 11, 2008, at the Stockhaff Memorial Nursing Home in Fredericktown, Mo.

Services were held 2 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Mo., with Donald Cox officiating. Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery, Shawneetown. Visitation was 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Local arrangements are in the charge of Cox and Son Funeral Home, Ridgway.

She was the widow of Irving Gates and Jimmy Joe Mungle. She is survived by two daughters, a brother, two sisters, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
