Curt Brown, 33, of Holly, Mich., was pronounced dead at the Hog Rock Campground 7:45 p.m. Friday by Hardin County Coroner Roger Little.
"We can narrow it down at this point to natural causes or an accidental drug overdose," Little said.
"There was no sign of any violence or foul play."
Brown had been in a serious car accident a couple years ago and had medical problems stemming from the accident, Little said.
He was found by friends who had left the area a couple hours before, while Brown was sleeping, Little said.
Brown's death is not the first since the Gathering of the Juggalos came to Cave-In-Rock. Last year, An Indianapolis man who attended the festival was found dead after he did not return home. Raymond Shane Barnett, 30, was found near the road leading to the Hog Rock Campground after the gathering ended. He was in a dry creek bed about two miles from the Saline River, Little said. He was sitting in the creek bed and had taken off at least some of his clothes, indicating he might have been trying to cool off, Little said.
The Juggalos are fans of Detroit-based rap group Insane Clown Posse and other performers on the band's Psychopathic Records label. About 7,800 people were on hand at the campground by Friday night, Little said.
In addition to ICP and other Psychopathic Records performers, major names in rap such as Ice-T and 2 Live Crew were on the bill for the gathering.
