Marie Dora Languay
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marie Dora Languay, 94, of Ridgway, passed away at 8:05 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Marie was born in Lowell, Mass., to Joseph and Sinharina (Mello) DeJesus on Dec. 18, 1914.
She was a homemaker and a seamstress.
Marie is survived by six children; Richard and Cathy Baptista of Gloucester, Mass., Gene and Evelyn Baptista of Waterford, Conn., Donald and Nancy Baptista of Oswego, N.Y., Beverly Mills of Ridgway, George Baptista of Westerly, R.I. and Robert and Colette Baptista of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Vera and Joseph Jesus of Stockton, Calif., and Eveyn Bettencourt of Lowell, Mass.; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; and six great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alice Sousa; two brothers, Tony and Manual DeJesus; and two grandsons, Raymond Baptista and Donald Mills.
Visitation for Marie will be held from 4 p.m. to service time 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway. Father Mark Stec will officiate the service. Cremation will follow the services and burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
