Kevin Dean Thrasher

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Kevin Dean Thrasher passed away surrounded by his family Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, in Manchester, Conn.

Kevin was born in Eldorado on March 19, 1972, to Mary (Doug) Cantwell and Larry (Joy) Thrasher, who survive. He was a graduate of Kokomo High School in Indiana and attended college in Vincennes, Ind. He was in management in the gaming industry and with FedEx.

In addition to his parents and stepparents, Kevin is survived by his sister and best friend, Angie (Bryce) Hampton; stepbrothers, Michael (Lily) Johnson and Dr. Ron (Aline) Johnson; stepsister, Laura (Dennis) Pinigis; niece, Lauryn Hampton; and several stepnieces and stepnephews. Also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A special friend, Michael Nelson also survives.

Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at the Highlands Funeral Home in Louisville, Ky., with burial at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Ky. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the service beginning at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Bridge Medical Clinic or the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

God could not have taken a more special person. Kevin was a good friend to many and always put those around him at ease. To know Kevin was to love him. He had a kind spirit and a gentle soul. The world was a brighter place because Kevin was in it.
